Women's Track & Field Seniors
This year the Robert Morris Colonials are lead by three seniors girls, Laura Buzzard, Jamie Gasbarro, and Kristen Hutter. Each of these seniors has contributed to a program that has undergone several coaching changes
in the last 4 years.
Laura Buzzard is the the sole senior thrower on the team this year. Throughout her 4 years here she has compiled several school records along with impressive
personal records. She currently hold the school record in the Discus (136'6). Her personal records are 41'4 (Shot), 131'3 (Hammer), and 125'10 (Javelin). Laura is not only an outstanding athlete she is a hard worker in the classroom and
is actively involved in school activities her at RMU. She is the V.P. of Student Athletic Advisory Committee and President of Sport Management Association. If that is not enough to keep her busy she also works at John Jay Complex throughout the week.
Smith feels that Laura is "the rock of the this team and a steady source of points. Laura is defintely one of the most gifted athletes on this team." With that said Laura can only
plan for a successful senior year.
